While there has never been a sequel to 1980's Cannibal Holocaust, a number of films have adopted the name "Cannibal Holocaust 2" or "Cannibal Holocaust II" in an attempt to be associated with the original's fame;
- 1977's Eaten Alive!, released in Argentina as Cannibal holocausto 2.
- 1985's Schiave bianche: violenza en Amazzonia, released in Europe as Cannibal Holocaust 2: The Catherine Miles Story.
- 1988's Natura contro, released in Europe and Thailand as Cannibal Holocaust II.
- 2003's Mondo cannibale, released in Japan as Cannibal Holocaust 2.
Additionally, 2003's Nella terra dei cannibali has been released in Japan as Cannibal Holocaust 3: Cannibal vs. Commando.
